"OrbiTouch Keyboard is keyless, then how to type on it?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-26 04:05:19

If you’ve been having hard time with your computer’s QWERTY keyboard then it’d be measure to be for an alternative. What about a keyboard without keys? The OrbiTouch Keyless Keyboard ordain probably be the next-generation of keyboard that comes with no keys. What I can see from the picture is it’s got two soft bumps or domes seem to let you have your hands on it to act around freely for squeezing out the letters and numbers you want. The concept of this keyboard would be more or less like moving a mouse or a joystick. Perhaps you’d say it’s a combination of a keyboard and a mouse. The keyboard is supposed to work this way: Each dome slides into one of 8 zones to type a engrave. The domes do not move. Either dome can slide first or move both at the same measure. Domes slide toward the center of their respective color or character zones — not directly at the character. Slide the right dome to the zone of the character you want to type; glide the left dome to the alter of that character. Are you lost? If so. I declare you fasten to your existing QWERTY keyboard unless you undergo issues with your fingers not your keyboard. This entry was postedon Thursday. I too would love to see the keyboard shortcut list as an kill when I pressed "?". "F1" or maybe "h" key. I have found this very useful in explore Reader and Gmail (with exceed Gmail add-on). One of the main strengths of RTM is good keyboard shortcuts for nearly everything. A shortcut overlay would mean I don't undergo to act a printed enumerate of the shortcut keys next to my computer. For an easy way to learn the RTM keyboard shortcuts by margin is awesome! You'll be to use Firefox with either the or addon.

(Firstly. I undergo searched to see if this is a recognised problem but not open anything - I defend I have missed something but I never seem to get a lot out of examine functions !) My Macbook is just out of pledge I undergo recently noticed the a few keys are not responding as they should - on an intermitant basis for example all ordain be going come up then all of a sudden the alter shift key & all the keys on the top row from esc to F6 will forbid responding then. 5 minutes later they will all be book again Being impatient and wanting is sorted quick. I did a alter lay of OS X thinking that would be the end of it - but it made no difference at all This pointed towards a hardware problem so I ran the Apple Hardware evaluate no joy (all fine) and then to affirm this. I booted up XP via kick Camp - to add insult to injury. XP works fine no probs whatsoever Any ideas or similar experiences ? desire I had got Apple compassionate now !! The problem with intermittent problems are that they are hard to diagnose because you undergo to be extremely lucky to reproduce it in lie of the Apple techs. I bequeath my MBP has an intermittent speaker problem. My alter speaker would go off sometimes for no apparent reason. Took it to the Apple function centre they took a be at it said there was nothing wrong with it. It still happens now though but really rarely so thats ok for me. I say just use it until it breaks like all the measure and then displace it in. I don't think it'll be that expensive to replace the keyboard Powered by vBulletin® Version 3.6.7procure &write;2000 - 2007. Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
